Wedding Hire Agreement
Hire period and costs
The customer is responsible for the hired equipment from the time of collection/ delivery until returned to Roisin Dubh at 7 Hepworths Arcade Hull. All hired items remain the property of the Roisin during the hire period.
The customer agrees to hire at the price shown and according to our terms and conditions outlined below.
Bird cages - £12 & £10
Cake stands (two tier) £8
Vintage cake stands (Three Tiers) £10
When your order is placed with Roisin Dubh you will be asked to secure it with a non refundable 50% payment of the value of your total order. The balance will then be payable 60 days prior to your delivery date.
Damages, loss and breakages deposit
A £75 deposit is required for breakages, loss or damages of items hired which is payable at the same time as your balance but with a separate cheque. This cheque should be made payable to 'Julie Buffey' and will not be cashed if the hired items are returned in the same condition as when they were hired. If there are damages, losses or breakages the amounts outlined below will be deducted from the deposit and a detailed receipt provided. In the unlikely event of the cost of damage exceeding the deposit an invoice will be raised payable in 30 days.
The replacement amounts are detailed below
Ceramic cake stands £25
Birdcage (medium) £30.00
Birdcage (large) £35.00 Crockery and glassware returned chipped will be charged as broken
Vintage Cake Stand (chrome) £30.
Suitability of hired items
Please note the hirer accepts full responsibility for judging the suitability of the product for the required purpose.
A standard order will be on hire to you for 3 days. Any extra time required may incur a surcharge but this can be agreed at the time of order.
We will deliver and collect locally at a rate at £0.40p per mile from the shop to the venue and return unless otherwise advised. This applies to Hull and the local area only. Any other deliveries will be agreed at the time of hire.
Any customer wishing to organise their own transport must be fully insured against all loss or damage and must produce evidence of such insurance to Roisin Dubh 7 Hepworths Arcade Hull upon request.
Loss or injury
Roisin Dubh cannot accept responsibility for any loss or injury caused by the use of any of the equipment. Therefore we strongly recommend you take out separate event insurance.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure your order. If you have to cancel your order and you do so within 30 day of the agreed delivery/collection date then you will incur no additional charges. However if cancellation takes place less than 30 days before your agreed delivery/collection date the remaining amount will be payable in full. Please make your cancellation in writing via Royal Mail recorded delivery to the stipulated address given on your order confirmation.
